KYC Process

1. Getting Acess to Liveform

ARGOS provides our own KYC submission form - 'Liveform' in web URL format. Basically, Liveform works in mobile environments, so a QR code will appear when accessed through a PC. Scanning this QR code will smoothly convert the device by opening the Liveform through a web browser.
ARGOS KYC works flawlessly in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Samsung Internet, Opera and Whale browsers.

2. Getting Started

If you have succeeded in opening the Liveform, you have language options. Touch the top-right button to change the language. This will be helpful for your global users.
You may start by entering your email address and consenting privacy policy.
For the next step, you have to select the ID type and issuing country of the ID, these two information will decide the rest process of KYC. So, please be accurate.
While selecting the ID type, there are three options: passport, driver's license and government ID. The passport means 'international' ones, government ID excludes passport and driver's license.
Then you have to select the 'issuing' country. This is different from nationality, you have to choose the country that has published the document.

3. Verifying ID

'Verifying ID' process includes taking picture of ID and extracting identity information from it. For AI to recognize and read the ID well, it needs a little bit of padding around as you see in the image above.
Once a clear ID image is taken, the AI-read information will be displayed. Check if it's all accurate or users will be able to correct it themselves. Even if there is no response from AI after taking an ID image, it's still good to proceed. Users can type in their info and move on to the next step.

4. Verifying Face

Once ID is verified, 'Verifying Face' process follows to check if the owner itself is proceeding KYC. During this step, we check how similar the two faces are and whether it's not forged from a picture or video.
To pass this verification, there are a few conditions to meet, but for the Liveform users, you only have to follow the guideline.
First of all, the face ratio compared to the whole image should be adequate. Therefore, make sure your face outline matches the guideline before taking a picture. Also, we compare both face and background, don't zoom in on the face too much. As the example shows above, a little bit of padding around the face is needed.
Since these conditions should be met, do not cut the outline of the face, cover the face with a mask or sunglasses, take one-sided pictures, adjust the ratio arbitrarily, or take pictures in a too dark environment.

5. Verifying Address

During the last process of ARGOS KYC, we verify users' addresses. The key is to 'PIN' on the map.
To move the map, search for the address. Once the map is moved, look for the building of your address and pin it. Then users will see the address in text and a box to enter their detailed address. It's possible to edit the address or claim the last part of the address.
